What it is about
Nick goes to visit his brother and meets Molly, his brother’s girlfriend, who is plainly not getting much attention at home. The two of them hit it off, and the attraction becomes harder and harder to disguise. Then comes a single rash moment that could blow the whole household apart. That is the full shape of the official synopsis.
The title versus the premise
The name promises a schemer. The synopsis, oddly, does not. It describes mutual chemistry and one impulsive slip rather than a woman pulling strings, so if you are expecting a calculating seductress you may be reading more into the title than Candy’s own description supports. It is possible the manipulation is in the episodes, but we cannot promise it.
What the premise does have is a decent emotional core. A neglected partner, a sibling as the third point of the triangle and a house where everyone has to keep pretending give the series a quieter, more slow-burn tension than many of its neighbors.
