What is free on Candy AI Shorts
Every series gives you its first two episodes for free; one of them, Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right, gives you three. Across the catalogue that is 223 free episodes out of 642 listed, roughly a third of everything. The free episodes are the real thing in full quality, not trailers, but they stop before the explicit part. To see how a series continues, you unlock the remaining episodes with tokens.
What a locked episode costs
There are only two prices per episode: 12 tokens on a standard series and 30 on a series built around a licensed performer. What changes from one series to the next is how many locked episodes there are.

Most of the catalogue sits on the first line: 93 series cost 36 tokens to finish. Seven cost 90, and the eleven longer series range from 48 to 384 tokens.
Where the tokens come from: Candy’s plans
Tokens come with Candy’s paid plans. Whichever length you choose, each month of the plan adds 100 tokens to your account. The plans differ in how you are billed and, as a result, in what you pay per month:

What a series costs in dollars
Divide the plan price by its 100 monthly tokens and you get the value of one token, which makes it easy to price any series:

The gap is large. The same performer series costs about $12.60 on the monthly plan and about $3.60 on the yearly one, because the tokens are identical and only the billing changes.
Over a year, how you pay matters most
If you expect to keep watching, compare the plans over twelve months. You receive the same tokens either way; you just pay very different totals for them.

The monthly plan makes sense for a single month of sampling. Beyond that, the yearly plan costs less than four months of monthly billing and gives you a full year of tokens.
The long series: from 6 to 34 episodes
Eleven series run longer than the usual five episodes, and they are where tokens go fastest. They all use the standard 12 tokens per locked episode, so the price grows with the length:

A 15-episode series needs 156 tokens, which is two months of plan tokens with 44 left over, or about $6.24 on the yearly plan and about $21.84 on the monthly one. My bestie betrayed me, at 384 tokens, needs nearly four months of tokens: about $15.36 yearly or $53.76 monthly.
Getting the most out of 100 tokens
- Two standard series use 72 tokens and leave 28, enough for two more locked episodes of a third series.
- One performer series uses 90 and leaves 10.
- Episode by episode, 100 tokens open eight standard locked episodes, with 4 left.
The simplest way to avoid wasting tokens is to unlock nothing until you have watched both free episodes, and then to finish what you start: a series half unlocked is money spent on a story without its ending. Our shortlist is a good place to spend the first 100.
