The premise, such as it is
Candy’s official description is a single line: two roommates, Mona and DarkAngel, go after the person who has just moved in with them, and they do it aggressively. That is genuinely all there is. No backstory, no obstacle, no setting beyond the shared apartment the title implies.
It would be unfair to pretend there is more plot here than that. The series is built on an energetic idea, two women doing the chasing, and it leaves everything else to the episodes themselves.
What stands out
- Two pursuers, not one. Most five-parters on Candy pair one couple. Having two roommates chase the same newcomer gives the series a different dynamic and, potentially, a little competition.
- The women are in charge. The word “aggressively” does a lot of work in that synopsis. The newcomer is the target, not the instigator.
- Named characters. Mona and DarkAngel are named in the synopsis, which at least suggests distinct personalities rather than two interchangeable roommates.
On the other side of the ledger, there is no stated conflict or reason for any of it beyond attraction. If you like a story with a setup that pays off, this is not it.

Skip it if you judge a series by its story; the synopsis gives you almost nothing to go on, and you would be paying mostly for the concept.
