Premise in brief
Every campus has one: the woman who seems to have everything, and who, as far as you are concerned, lives in another world. In this series she does not stay there. She turns up in your dorm room, and she looks like someone who knows exactly why she came.
That is a wish-fulfillment setup with a question mark attached. The title calls her a “secret roommate”, which hints at a reason for her being there that the synopsis does not spell out. How she got into your room and why is the mystery the episodes have to answer.
Strong points
The hook is simple and effective: the unreachable girl who, for once, is within reach. The second-person framing puts you in the role of the ordinary student, and the “secret” in the title suggests there is at least a small reveal to come. The campus setting is also a change from the family homes that dominate Candy’s Taboo tag.
Weak points
There is very little character in the synopsis. She is defined by status and confidence, and we learn nothing about you beyond the fact that you are not in her league. The Taboo tag is also puzzling, since nothing in the official description involves family or a partner; if you are looking for a forbidden relationship, the premise does not promise one.
