Premise
He is shy, works in an office and has a quiet crush on an online cosplay star called softbunny_xo. Then he figures out who she really is: the reserved coworker he sees every day. Their online flirtation starts to spill into real life, and with it come two jobs for him. He has to keep her secret identity safe, and he has to convince her that he wants the person behind both personas, not only the costume.
A rare romantic angle
This is closer to a romantic comedy setup than almost anything else on Candy. There is no stepfamily, no cheating partner and no taboo tag, just two awkward people and a secret. The emotional question, whether he likes her or the character she plays, gives the story more of a heart than the catalogue usually offers.
The secret identity also creates natural tension. Protecting a double life at work means risk, and risk is what keeps short episodes moving.
What might not work
If you come to Candy for the taboo themes that dominate its tags, this may feel too sweet. Candy lists no tags for it at all, and we have not rated it on our explicitness scale yet, so there is no signal about how far the locked episodes go. The cosplay angle is also mostly a premise here; the synopsis says nothing about costumes beyond her online persona.
Trying it and finishing it
Episodes 1 and 2 are free and let you judge the setup: the office, the discovery and whether the pairing has chemistry on paper. The 3 locked episodes cost 12 tokens each, 36 tokens altogether, which is about $1.44 on the yearly plan, $3.24 quarterly or $5.04 monthly. The cost guide explains how plan tokens stretch.
Right for you?
- Go for it if you want a secret-identity romance, a sympathetic lead and a story built on attraction rather than transgression.
- Look elsewhere if you want a rated series, a performer or something from the Taboo end of the catalogue.
Compared with other recent originals
Among the newer standard series, My First Night Shift has a title that hints at a job of its own, and Claimed by the Dragon Queen is a new pick for those who want a different genre entirely. Both cost 36 tokens and are not rated yet on our scale. For the full range, browse the episode guide.
Verdict
UNDER HER ARMOR stands out for being gentle. A secret online identity and a shy hero give it the feel of a romance with an adult finish, and that is unusual on Candy. It is unrated and untagged, so let the free episodes decide, but the premise is one of the more charming in the catalogue.
