The premise
Mona is the kind of person who has a plan for everything and a firm opinion about everyone. Then circumstances force her to move in with her stepbrother David, a self-satisfied alpha type and the last man on earth she would ever respect. What follows is a daily contest of wit and stubbornness, full of the kind of bad decisions that slowly take her carefully ordered view of the world apart.
It is the classic enemies-to-lovers setup, transplanted into Candy’s favourite territory, the stepfamily. The tension comes from the friction between the two of them rather than from a single situation, and that is exactly why the series needs more than five episodes.
Why the length matters
Most Candy AI Shorts series have five episodes: two to set things up, three to pay them off. Mona’s Worst Enemy is one of only four series with 15, which changes how the story works. There is room for the rivalry to build, for things to go wrong between the two of them and for the shift to happen gradually rather than in a single scene. If what you enjoy in this genre is the build-up, this is one of the few series on the platform that really gives you one.
The flip side is commitment. Thirteen locked episodes is a lot to unlock for a story you are not sure about, so the free part matters more here than usual.
What you can judge for free
Episodes one and two are free and, as on every Candy series, suggestive rather than explicit. They introduce Mona and David and the dynamic between them. That is the real test: if their sparring already amuses you, the long build that follows will feel like a reward; if it irritates you, thirteen more episodes of it will not help. We have not given the series an explicitness rating yet, but like everything on Candy AI Shorts it is adult content once you reach the locked episodes.

The locked episodes are standard price, 12 tokens each, so the full series needs 156 tokens. Candy’s plans add 100 tokens a month, which means two months of tokens, with 44 left over. In dollars that is about $6.24 on the yearly plan and about $21.84 on the monthly one. On a monthly plan, the same tokens would finish four standard five-parters with change to spare, so this is a series to pick deliberately rather than by accident.
Who it suits
- It suits you if you like enemies-to-lovers stories, slow burns and stepsibling plots, and you would rather watch a relationship turn than jump straight to the payoff.
- Skip it if you want explicit scenes quickly or you are on a tight token budget. A five-parter gets there faster and costs a quarter as much.
How it compares

Mona’s Worst Enemy is the series to choose when five episodes feel too rushed. Its premise is built on friction, and fifteen episodes give that friction time to turn into something else. It only makes sense if you are ready to go all the way, though: watch the two free episodes, and unlock the rest only if Mona and David already have you hooked.
