Premise
Piper’s honeymoon is off to a bad start. The villa is luxurious, but her husband spends the trip working, and the only person who seems to notice her is the young man who carried her suitcases in. Bored and ignored, she decides to take matters into her own hands.
It is a neat inversion of the usual Candy setup. Instead of a man tempted by a woman he should not want, the story follows a wife who is the one making the choice, with an absent husband as the obstacle.
Why it works on paper
Piper has a motive, which is more than many five-parters offer. She is not simply irresistible or insatiable; she is neglected on a trip that was supposed to be about her. That gives the affair a reason and the husband a role, even if he is mostly offstage. A resort villa is also a self-contained, glamorous setting that suits a short run.
Why it might not
The synopsis stops at her decision. We do not know whether the husband notices, whether there are consequences or how far the story travels from the first spark. The staff-and-guest dynamic is also a familiar one, and it depends on the young man being more than a name tag, which the description does not guarantee.
