Premise in brief
A student who is failing her class also cannot stop staring at his professor. She calls it a focus problem and keeps him back after class to fix it, which turns into private lessons at night. There is one condition: the only words he is allowed are “Yes, Professor.” The synopsis closes on his girlfriend catching the two of them, so there is a third person in the story and a reckoning on the way.
The appeal
This is a premise built on a single rule, and that is its strength. The “Yes, Professor” condition gives the series a clear power dynamic, a running motif and a title that doubles as a catchphrase. The girlfriend adds consequences, which keeps it from being a loop of one situation for five episodes.
It is also one of only three Candy series tagged Teacher, so if the classroom angle is what you want, the choice is short.
The catch
The student-professor setup is a well-worn fantasy and the synopsis does not name anyone or give the professor a motive beyond control. If rule-based power play does not interest you, there is not much else in the pitch.
