What it is about
Emilia’s life looks flawless from the outside. Then she spends one forbidden night with a step-cousin, and her sister, described as ruthless, now has exactly the weapon she needs to tear everything down. Emilia is left pulled between two forces: the man she wants and a sister willing to destroy it all to come out on top.
Why it is more than a five-parter
This is one of the few 15-episode series on Candy, and the premise seems built for that length. A rivalry between sisters is a slow-burning engine: leverage can be used, threatened, traded and turned around. The synopsis gives Emilia both something to protect and someone actively working against her, which is the backbone of any decent drama.
The step-cousin detail keeps it in Taboo territory, the only tag Candy gives it, but the sibling war looks as central as the forbidden romance. It is also a heroine-led story, a welcome change of perspective in a catalogue that often puts a man at the center.
