The setup in one paragraph
A young man ends up stuck inside a house with the stepmother of the woman he is dating. Rather than wait it out politely, she decides to use the time to find out whether he would stay faithful to her stepdaughter, and she tests him herself. The appeal: a test, not just a temptation
Plenty of Candy series put a boyfriend near an off-limits older woman. What changes the tone here is that she frames it as a test. That gives her a pretext and gives him a dilemma: every step closer is also a step toward failing it. The absent girlfriend never needs to appear for her presence to be felt.
The weaker side is that “stuck in the house” is doing a lot of work. The synopsis does not say why they are trapped or what else is going on, so the story rests almost entirely on the two of them. If the dynamic does not grab you in the free episodes, there is little else to hold on to.

Our take
Got Stuck With My Girlfriend’s Stepmom has a better hook than its generic title suggests. Turning the stepmother into someone running a loyalty test adds a little tension to a very common setup. It is still a small, contained story, but at the standard price it is an easy one to try, and the free episodes tell you quickly whether the game is worth playing out.
