A revenge story first
Sienna has been dumped for someone else, and she is not taking it quietly. Her plan for getting even is to seduce her ex’s father, a silver fox she finds hard to resist. The affair does not stay secret for long. It blows up into open warfare inside the family, and as it does, every buried secret starts coming to the surface.
Why it is more interesting than the title
The title sounds like a one-joke premise. The synopsis is better than that. Sienna has a motive, revenge, which makes her an active lead rather than someone things happen to. There is also a built-in audience for the affair: the ex who dumped her, whose own father is the weapon she uses against him. And the promise of a family war and spilled secrets suggests the story has consequences, not just a setup.
It also flips the usual Candy perspective. Most taboo series are told around a younger man and an older woman; here the lead is a woman and the older partner is a dad, which is rarer in the catalogue.
Weak spots
Five short episodes and a family war is a lot to fit in. Expect the fallout to be brisk rather than dramatic, and do not count on the secrets being fully developed. The synopsis also says nothing about the woman Sienna was left for, so the ex’s side of the story may be thin.

Verdict
My Ex’s Hot Dad has more story than its title lets on: a jilted lead with a motive, an affair designed to hurt someone and a family that comes apart over it. It will not have the room to do everything the synopsis promises, but at 36 tokens it is a good pick for anyone tired of stepmom setups.
