The setup
The series puts you in the lead role. You are the new tenant, and the woman living opposite you is married, very attractive and apparently cursed with the least reliable apartment in the building. Every night, long after midnight, there is another knock and another thing that has stopped working. Her husband has a night job, so he is never around to help.
The synopsis is openly winking about it: the repairs are not the point, and she is not really asking for a plumber. That is the whole story as Candy tells it, and it is fair to say it is a pretext more than a plot.
Where it works and where it does not
The point-of-view framing is the main draw. Instead of watching a couple you are cast as the neighbor, which suits a short series built around one relationship and one repeated scenario. The absent husband adds a little risk, because the whole arrangement depends on his shift schedule.
The weakness is just as clear. There is no rival, no twist and no second situation in the description, only the same late-night excuse repeated. Over five short episodes that may be enough; if you want a story that goes somewhere, this probably will not.
Try before you pay
Episodes 1 and 2 are free, and they are the right place to decide whether the knock-at-the-door routine holds your interest.
