Premise
Mila did not intend to fall for the man her sister is dating. It starts with late-night journaling, moves on to envious glances, and becomes a bond unlike anything she has felt before. The synopsis is told from Mila’s side, even though the title addresses the boyfriend.
Length is the story here
At ten episodes, this is twice the length of a typical Candy series; only a handful of the catalogue runs longer than five. That extra room suits the premise. A slow-building attraction told through a diary is not a story that works in a hurry, and the synopsis reads like a romance first and a taboo scenario second.
