The story
Kasia’s relationship is falling apart. Her boyfriend cheats on her again and again, and while she deals with the fallout, her thoughts keep returning to someone she should not want: her stepdad. The attraction is consuming, and the synopsis makes it clear it is complicating everything in her life.
Length is the selling point
This is one of only 11 series on Candy that run longer than five episodes, and the extra length suits the premise. A story about a relationship failing and an attraction growing is a slow burn by nature, and ten episodes give it room that a five-parter would not. The unfaithful boyfriend gives Kasia a reason to look elsewhere, which makes her an easier lead to follow than someone simply giving in.
The catch
The synopsis describes a state of mind rather than events. It tells us how Kasia feels, not what happens, and there is no mention of how the stepdad responds or whether anyone else finds out. Across ten episodes, that could mean a well-paced build-up or a lot of repetition. It is not rated yet on our explicitness scale, so we cannot judge the payoff either.
