What the story is
A struggling handyman is working in a billionaire’s house when he comes across a gold lamp locked in the safe. The jinniyah who lives inside offers him anything he wants. He keeps saying no, and every refusal only makes her keener to change his mind. That is when the lady of the house appears and catches him with the lamp in his hands.
Why it stands out
Most of the catalogue is set in houses, offices and dorms, and the drama comes from who is related to whom. This one borrows a fairy-tale device instead, and it flips the usual genie story: the wish-granter is the one doing the pursuing, while the man holding the lamp resists.
The ending of the synopsis is the best part. The wife’s entrance turns a private fantasy into a situation with a witness, and a handyman caught holding his employer’s treasure has some explaining to do. That gives the second half of the series a clear source of tension beyond the magic.
Keep your expectations in proportion, though. It is still five short episodes, and a premise this playful will live or die on how much fun it has with the idea. We cannot judge that from the synopsis alone.

Your Wish is my Command is one of the more inventive premises on Candy: a reluctant hero, an insistent genie and a wife who arrives at the worst moment. At the standard price, with a 4 out of 5 rating on our scale, it is an easy recommendation for anyone tired of the usual suburban setups.
