The story Candy tells
Quinn arrives for a month-long visit with her step-brother and the girlfriend he lives with. One kiss happens in secret, and instead of being a one-off it becomes a compulsion. He keeps coming back, and he cannot seem to stop.
The synopsis is short but has a clear arc: a single slip, then escalation, then the question hanging over it all of when the girlfriend finds out. Quinn is named and positioned as the instigator; the step-brother is the one losing control.
What it has going for it
Cheating stories need a victim in the room, and this one has her: the girlfriend is present for the whole visit, which keeps the risk close. The word “addiction” also promises a story about escalation rather than a single encounter, which fits a five-episode structure well.
Where it falls short
It is a familiar formula. The step-sibling visit is one of Candy’s most common setups, and the synopsis gives Quinn no particular motive or history. Nothing suggests a twist, and the ending is left for the episodes to decide. It reads as a solid genre entry rather than a standout.
