What the series is about
The groom-to-be has a bachelor party planned until his future mother-in-law cancels it, loudly and in front of everyone. It looks like a stern parent laying down the law. About an hour later, with her daughter asleep on the floor above, she reveals a different plan: a private “gift” in place of the party, and her two friends let themselves in through the back.
The hook
The title does a lot of work here. “Not under my roof” is what a strict parent says, and the series turns that phrase on its head within a single evening. The public refusal followed by the private offer is a clean reversal, and the arrival of two more women makes it a group story rather than the usual pair.
The sleeping daughter upstairs adds a layer of risk. Everything happens in the same house as the person with the most to lose.
Where it falls short
Beyond the reversal, the synopsis is short on character. We learn nothing about the groom, the fiancée or the two friends, and once the gift is on the table, there is little suggestion of where the story goes next. Candy lists no tags for it, and we have not rated it on our explicitness scale yet.

Verdict
Not Under My Roof gets its energy from one sharp reversal: the woman who cancels the party throws a different one. It is thin on character and untested on our scale, but the setup has a clear hook and a bigger cast than most. At the standard price, it is a reasonable gamble.
